Find Music Lessons

JD teaches guitar, bass, and ukulele. He fell in love with music at a very young age, and has been taking lessons and performing ever since. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, applied guitar. JD's philosophy of teaching is to share the joy of music through fun and practical means. He is passionate about making the learning experience enjoyable and applicable to each student's life. His teaching approach incorporates helping students learn their favorite song, sing along with fun rhythms, and exploring different genres through strumming techniques, chord playing, and note reading. His favorite teaching moments are when a student has a "that's so cool," "ah I get it now," or "lightbulb" moment!
