Find Music Lessons

Ellen began piano lessons at four years old, starting a lifelong passion for the study of music.  She studied piano at Hope College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music.  Later, she completed a Master of Music in Ethnomusicology at Bowling Green State University.   Ellen also has an extensive background in performing liturgical music, and has served many years as a church pianist.  In her capacity as a teacher, Ellen strives to not only bring out the best of students' abilities, but to foster curiosity to explore our music-filled world.
